The Dodge Challenger Hemi is a unique and fascinating muscle car. The history of this car takes us back to the year I was born, hence my natural born obsession. It was Dodge's version of the Mustang and Camaro of it's time.

One of my buddies recently went and purchased a "new" muscle car. He decided to get a 2009 Dodge Challenger. He claimed that this car is a monster so I had to go check it out for myself. He did indeed get a Dodge Challenger with a Hemi motor.

The Dodge Challenger R/T (Hemi Challenger) is a monster of a car featuring a 5.7 Liter V-8 HEMI® engine that puts out 372 hp and 401 pounds of torque. The five-speed transmission comes in automatic or manual with a remote start system. When you are out driving, this car makes the ride smooth with an electronic stability program and all-speed traction control, smoothing out the bumps along the road.
